How to install OS using bootable pendrive
To Create a Bootable Pendrive
STEP: 1
1. Insert a Pendrive into a working computer.
2. Open a command prompt window as an administrator.
3. Type diskpart.
4. In the new command-line window that opens, to determine the number of the USB flash drive or its letter, Type list disk, and then click Enter. (Write down the drive number or drive letter of the USB flash drive.)
5. At the command prompt, type select disk <X>, where X is the drive number or drive letter of the USB flash drive, and then press ENTER.
6. Type clean, and then click ENTER. (this will delete all the data in your Pendrive)
7. To create a new primary partition on the USB flash drive, type create partition primary, and then click Enter.
8. Type select partition 1, and then click Enter.
9. To format the partition, type format fs=ntfs quick, and then press ENTER.
NOTE:
If your server platform supports the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI), you must format the USB flash drive as FAT32 rather than as NTFS. To format the partition in FAT32, type format fs = fat32 quick, and then click Enter.
10. Type active, and then click ENTER.
11. Type exit, and then press ENTER.
12. Once your custom image has been prepared, save it to the root of the USB flash drive.
STEP: 2
Copy the Windows Installer to the Pendrive
Copy and paste the entire files of the Windows product DVD or ISO file to the Pendrive.
STEP: 3
Install Windows on the new PC
Connect the Pendrive to a new PC.
Restart PC and press the key that opens the boot mode selection menu, such as the Esc / F10 / F12 keys. Select the option that starts the PC from the USB flash drive.
The Windows Installer starts. Follow the instructions to install Windows.
Remove the USB flash drive.
