If the earth stopped rotating then you will die.
Reasons Behind The:
At the equator, the Earth's surface and all it contains is 465 meters per second. This speed decreases gradually as you get closer to the pole. As soon as the earth stops rotating, everything on earth (except at the pole) continues to move as before.
- Your body would fly east at a supersonic speed of 465 meters per second if you are near the equator.
- You can only survive for a few seconds at the poles.
- There will be giant tsunamis and all the water will begin to move towards the pole.
- Half of the world would be fully exposed to the sun, which could raise the temperature and, consequently, the remaining half would freeze.
- The wind speed will be faster than the shockwave of an atomic bomb. It will instantly trigger a fire all around the planet.
- The iron core in the center of the Earth would also stop and the protective magnetic field would no longer be there. The radioactive rays of the sun would enter the earth and kill everything that remains.
- And yes, the most important thing: you would gain weight of 0.3%.
