Every February in the world, candy, flower, and gift sale units were changing between the wanted people named Valentine's Day. However, who is this mysterious saint, and why are we celebrating this holiday?
The story of the day and its guardian is surrounded by mystery. However, we tend to recognize that February has long been a month of romance. Valentine's Day, as we all know today, contains a mix of each Christian tradition and ancient Roman.

So, who was Saint Valentine and how did he become related to this ancient rite? Today, the Catholic Church recognizes a minimum of 3 totally different saints, named Valentine or Valentine, who have all been martyred. A legend claims that Valentine was a priest who served throughout the third century in Rome. Once the Emperor of Rome II determined that single men created many more soldiers than those with women and families, he banned the marriage of young men - his group of potential soldiers. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, challenged the Emperor of Rome II and continued to secretly celebrate the marriages of young lovers. once the acts of Valentine were discovered, the emperor of Rome II ordered his death.
Alternative stories claim that Valentine could be killed for attempting to help Christians escape from Roman penitentiaries, where they were usually submerged and tortured.

According to a legend, Valentine himself would have sent first valentine greetings to himself (recognition of "Valentine's Day"). While in prison, it is thought that Valentine fell in love with a young girl – she is the daughter of his jailer - who visited her throughout his imprisonment. Before his death, he would have written a letter to her, which he would have written "From your Valentine," an expression still used today.
Although the reality behind the legends of Valentine's Day is therefore unclear, the stories actually underline its appeal as a heroic, sympathetic, and especially romantic character. It is not surprising that by the center of ages, Valentine was one of the most popular saints in European countries and France.
